  This book originally started as a project to help me cope with life long ago. I stopped writing and picked it up. Suffice to say as time passed, the nature of the book changed, and it became something much more than a simple body jack story.

  I realized the direction for this book half way through; this isn't uncommon from what I hear.

  However, once my direction had crystallized, I spent the st few weeks and months simultaneously working on new chapters while revamping old ones. I hope I didn't lose too many readers in the process but...c'est vie.

  Part 1 of the book is finally complete. This series was about identity - what defines one's identity, pce in the universe, and about second chances. The book starts with Daniel accidentally body-jacking Emily, beginning to realize he has a new family, a new chance, and taking a step back to let Emily reemerge. Emily builds bonds with those around her, learns to channel Daniel's experience as he gently guides her, and then comes to an understanding and acceptance of her dual identity. She could have rejected Daniel but chose to embrace him as her partner, her brother, helping Daniel in turn revel in the scond chance the universe had given him. Together, the pair get into mischief as they learn more about their new bond, help those around them, and finally reveal their secret to their family.

  I foresee at least two to three more parts to this series. Part 2 is in the draft stage and going through edits. It will be a short one, an interlude of 6-10 chapters, providing more information about how Emily and her family learned to live with this new reality, what secrets each one kept, and is written from the perspective of each major character. It sets the stage for Book 3, which is where some of Daniel's more...tent..abilities are revealed, and perhaps some questions about his origin answered. And his purpose...why he was bought here...

  Well, I need a bit to finish Book 2, maybe a couple of weeks. I'd like to release it all at once but realistically will release a few chapters at a time. I look forward to sharing it with you - and to your comments!
