Chapter 45 I Wont Disturb You (5)

Su Wan struggled internally, hesitated, but ultimately couldn't resist reality, the Su family's reality. She had already promised her grandfather and couldn't afford to go back on her word.

Su Wanwan's hand exerted a slight force, then she grasped the pen and slowly lowered it, signing her name stroke by stroke.

Su Wanwan's brush stroke instantly broke Pei Mochen's memories, pulling him back from the past beauty to the cruel reality without any mercy.

He watched as Su Wanwan wrote down her own name, and with each stroke of the pen, his body grew colder, until she finished writing, he felt as if he had been thrown into icy water, chilled to the bone.

Su Wanwan handed over the form to the staff, and as she turned her face, she met Pei Mochen's icy gaze. Her body trembled involuntarily, and she hastily lowered her eyelids to avoid his stare.

Knowing that he shouldn't have expected anything, yet couldn't help but expect, it turned out that everything was just his own imagination. Pei Munan closed his eyes, and in the bottom of his heart, there was a lot of anger, but even more... was powerlessness.

The staff were extremely efficient and soon had their marriage certificate ready, handing it over to Pei Mochen who didn't even glance at it before standing up and leaving.

Su Wanwan quickly picked up those two red books and followed behind him.

Out of the Civil Affairs Bureau gate, Pei Muni went straight to his car, Su Wanwan stood still there, for a moment did not know whether to follow or go by herself.

After all, she is now Pei Mochen's wife and should follow him, but... he doesn't seem to have any intention of taking her with him.

Su Wanwan thought for a moment, then slowly walked forward. Before Pei Muxuan opened the car door and got in, she spoke in a low voice, "Pei, Pei Muxuan, are you going home now?"

Pei Muni's movements paused for a moment, he raised his eyes and looked at her, sneering coldly. His voice was filled with unbridled anger, "What? You think that just because you married me, you can ask whatever you want and point fingers?"

The words that had reached Su Wanwan's lips were swallowed back again.

She just wanted to ask him if he was going home, and if so, could he give her a ride. It wasn't that she couldn't walk by herself, it's just that she didn't know where his house was.

But it seems she may not need to know where his house is anymore, because he may not let her move in anyway.

Su Wan bowed her head and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way."

Pei Mu Nian knew he was just venting his anger, but he still couldn't help himself. The air in his chest was still stuck, and his hand gripped the door handle tightly. He took a deep breath before speaking, "No. 1888 Baishu Road, Mingdu District, Jinxiu City, Building 32."

Dropping that sentence, Pei Mu Nian forcefully opened the car door, got in, and heavily closed the car door again. Then he started the engine, stepped on the accelerator, and the car quickly merged into the traffic flow, disappearing before Su Wanwan's eyes.

Su Wanwan stood still for a few seconds before reacting, realizing that the address Pei Mu Nian had just mentioned was his home address.

  -

Su Wanwan took a taxi back home, Su Zhenhua was wearing reading glasses on the sofa in the living room reading the newspaper. Seeing her return, he put down the paper and said: "Registered?"

Su Wanwan walked over and sat on the sofa opposite Su Zhenhua, nodding slightly. "Mm, I'll come back to pack my luggage, then move over there to live."

Su Zhenhua nodded and subconsciously looked outside, "Did Mu Nian come back with you?"
